Emirates Canadian University College Receives the Final Accreditation of Mass Communication Program

Emirates Canadian University College obtained the final academic accreditation from CAA for Bachelor of Mass Communication program. 
Dr. Galal Hatem, president of the college, congratulated mass communication faculty members for this achievement, where it focuses on the quality of the followed learning outcomes, and that is considered as a proof of meeting the requirements and standards. He appreciated the efforts made by the academic and administrative bodies, which resulted in this important accreditation.
Dr. Hatem stressed that the final accreditation raises the status of the college as a leading institution committed to the application of academic accreditation standards, which are 11 criteria for the accreditation or renewal of accreditation of any academic program, program compatibility  with the college’s mission, mechanism of quality assurance, scientific content of the academic program, preparation and efficiency of faculty involved in the program, conditions of students admission, sources of information and learning, laboratories and information technology, university facilities, financial resources, availability of means of dissemination and credibility of information, scientific research, and community service.
Dr. Haitham Al-Samarrai, Head of Mass Communication Department, said that this accreditation is a great merit for the college's readiness to achieve the highest quality standards, and aspire to obtain international accreditations, in further consolidating its vision to provide academically qualified and competitive cadres in the labor market through practical skills.
Dr. Samarrai added that the accreditation reflects the college's keenness to develop academic programs and enable its students to acquire the  knowledge which increases their chances in the labor market, and which is a recognition of the program's achievement of international standards.
It is worth mentioning that Mass Communication Program has obtained the final accreditation in the fields of public relations, journalism and new media.
