Sheikh Majid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Chairman of Umm Al Qaiwain Tourism and Archaeology Department, witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Emirates Canadian University College and Umm Al Quwain Photography and Video Award, to enhance mutual cooperation and exchange of information and expertise in the field of photography and video and joint work mechanisms.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Galal Hatem, President of the College and Haitham Sultan, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of Umm Al Quwain Photography and Video Award, in the presence of HE Humaid Rashid Al Shamsi, Secretary General of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Emirates Canadian University College.
The memorandum aims to strengthen the partnership and cooperation between the two parties, expand the areas of cooperation in academic education and training, including comprehensive training in various fields of the award, exchange scientific and knowledge expertise in an integrated context in accordance with the two parties needs, support the initiatives of continuous development of the fields and standards of Umm Al Quwain Photography And video Award, and take advantage of the first party’s infrastructure and educational facilities.
Dr. Galal Hatem stressed the importance of signing this memorandum with Umm Al Quwain Photography and Video Award, and noted ECUC’s readiness to provide all the award success requirements in its first version. This memorandum confirms the college’s support to all events and activities in the Emirate.
. On his part, Haitham Sultan appreciated ECUC’s continuous cooperation and especially its cooperation with the organizing committee of the award through inviting students to participate in the award and promoting it through organizing seminars and lectures.
