Under the patronage and presence of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, Emirates Canadian University College celebrates graduation ceremony of the “Year of Tolerance “batch, Jan 06, 2019
H.E Humaid Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the College, Secretary-General of the Executive Council of Umm Al Quwain, said that, His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla's patronage of the ceremony reflects the leadership’s special care given to education sector and the process of youth building, which is accorded a priority attention, where youth is considered fundamental building blocks for society. This special care indicates the leadership's approach “to do the impossible for creating a shining future, through using its creative and innovative skills to be an asset in the future of the UAE”.
Al Shamsi said that, during the graduation ceremony, the Outstanding " Student" and " Researcher", will be honored , Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla Award at its first session, to encourage students to make more efforts, enhance their skills in learning achievement and knowledge development. In addition to, enhancing faculty members to undertake scientific research and raise the scientific excellence level.
Al Shamsi added that, Sheikh Saud’s interest to develop education and its learning outcomes in accordance with the Emirates Vision 2021, demonstrates his keenness to build a diversified knowledge economy led by Emirati youth and armed with the best expertise to take a role in pushing the country to reach developed ones.
