Agreement between the Federal Authority for Human

Federal Authority for Human Resources has recently signed a memorandum of understanding with Emirates Canadian University College in Umm Al Quwain to benefit from the services, education, training and development programs offered by the College in developing the skills of federal government employees and Improve their efficiency, performance and productivity.
 
The authority was represented by its Director General His Excellency Dr. Abdulrahman Abdul Mannan Al Awar  , while His Excellency Humid Rashid Al Shamsi, Secretary General of the Executive Council of Umm Al Quwain, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the College represented the college.

The memorandum sought to build collaboration between the authority and the College in fields of education, training and developing capacities of the employees of ministries and federal agencies, and improve their performance and professional competence.

 Under this memorandum, the College will join "Maaref ” of preferred training partners of launched by the authority in 2013 aiming to List the best training providers in UAE and place them at the service of ministries and federal agencies.

According to the agreement, the College will provide a variety of programs, general and specialized educational solutions and training courses with competitive prices to the federal government employees in order to enhance their capabilities. These courses will be offered through “Maaref” where employees will be able to communicate directly with the ministries and federal agencies that would like to train their employees, and receive the nominated attendees of the courses provided by ECUC.

Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Awar, Director General of the Authority, said that the memorandum aims to enhance the human capital capabilities of the federal government and improve its efficiency by providing innovative, reliable and vocational training by a distinguished academic institution like the Emirates Canadian University College.

He said that the Authority is keen to empower government employees, and qualify them to keep up with the latest developments in labor market during the twenty-first century and its requirements and rapid changes. This will enhance the global leadership of UAE in terms of government efficiency and achieve the aspirations of the wise leadership of the country  represented by the president  H. H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may God save and bless him. And H.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
 
Dr. Al Awar pointed out that Maarif aims to ensure reliable training for all federal government employees, and cover training needs in line with the requirements of the training and development system of federal government employees. And that will achieve financial abundance of training budgets in federal agencies, and thus benefit as many employees as possible, In addition to enhancing efficiency and productivity, creating an attractive and stimulating work environment in government, and facilitating selecting training courses electronically according to predetermined time frames.

His Excellency Humaid Rashid Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Executive Council of Umm Al Quwain, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the College, praised the role of the General Authority for Human Resources in enhancing the cooperation agreements with academic institutions to prepare and qualify the federal government employees. He said that the authority seeks to meet aspirations and ambitions of the wise leadership in investing human capital which is considered the heart of sustainable development.
 
"He added that Attracting leading institutions such as ECUC will open new horizons for those who would like to complete their university study,or get vocational training courses. And that will support creative skills and motivate young the innovative sense of employees, in line with national endeavors to achieve strategic objectives." Emirates for innovation and upgrading the performance and efficiency of human cadres working in the federal government through a series of training and academic programs provided by the College based on a smart ,innovative and flexible methodology,  away from the concept of traditional methods, ensuring keep pace with the rapid changes imposed by the digital age.
